Keeping Up With The Tiny People On My Screen
My March 2025 TV watches and what I would rate each 📺

I watched a lot of new television in March. I binged all of the shows I mentioned in last month’s issue. I even had time to watch shows that weren’t on my radar yet….
…is what I would say if I were a liar 😭.
Confession: I only tuned into one new show in March. Even typing it out feels like I failed a final exam. The television Gods are going to strike me down! SOS!
I am being dramatic, but as someone who prides themselves on keeping their television viewing on a tight schedule, I hate being behind on the thing that brings me joy. I don’t have any obligation to watch shows at any set pace (besides writing about them here), but they are my source of comfort, and I love being up to speed.
I am only human, though. Between the job search, pesky little responsibilities, and trying to at least keep up with my weekly watches, time escaped me. With the best intentions of catching up on weekends, I could not seem to find a moment to press play on any full-season shows that came out. Binging television was not in the cards!
I hope to get back into my regular schedule this month and come back with more new shows to share! Nonetheless, enjoy my updated thoughts and ratings on the many ongoing shows I was able to watch.
**Beware of some spoilers below! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! You can always jump around to what you are caught up on or take note of shows you want to watch!**
Rating Scale:
*some combo of: how much I enjoyed the show + how much I recommend that you watch*
📺 📺 📺 📺 📺 = Loved it! Run and press play now! Go!
📺 📺 📺 📺 = A great watch, but it can wait until you have time.
📺 📺 📺 = In the words of Sheree Whitfield, “It was cute! I liked the beat.”
📺 📺 = See for yourself, but I would save my time on this one.
📺 = Oh! She’s here too!
This Month’s Watchlist:
New Watches in March:
The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Season 16)
I have not watched RHOA since Nene left, but the promise of a soft reboot led me back like a horse to water. I had no idea what to expect, but from the premiere, I was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect the show to center so much on Shamea Morton, but after an episode, it made sense. This was the version of Shamea that we didn’t get when she was a “Friend Of.” I think she is vibrant and funny and I really love the bond she has with her family. It feels genuine and her storylines feel like a thread that will continue to weave the season together. As for the other new housewives, I have mixed opinions, but there is still time for them to change. I like Angela and think her feud with Shamea is unserious, which makes it enjoyable to watch. Kelli has real potential to grow, with a clear personal storyline and a “rising from the ashes” narrative. As for Brit, I have nothing to say except someone give her a tissue to blow her nose!
According to TV Deets, the ratings this season have reached a series low. I hope the show can rebuild its audience and return to the former glory that it once was. There is a lot of potential to grow with this new cast, particularly with Shamea as the new anchor and Porsha as a fan favorite. The editing out of Kenya Moore is likely impacting whether some viewers are watching, but something tells me the doors are not closed on her returning in the future. I don’t condone the alleged actions that took place, but the next few episodes will paint a picture of what went down.
Watch it on Bravo or Peacock.

Ongoing Watches from February:
The Pitt (Season 1)
This show continues to get better and better. I loved the scene between Dr. Collins and Dr. Robby in the ambulance, which was the first real moment we got to go deeper into the relationship between these two characters. I am sad that she has been absent from the last two episodes, but I selfishly hope she turns her phone back on after a long nap and returns to the hospital. I will be leading the “Tracey Icheafor Emmy campaign” when the time comes.
The last two episodes have been terrifying, exhilarating, anxiety-inducing, and thrilling all at once. I was worried the mass shooting plot line would feel like a way to prolong the episode count, but it has truly packed an emotional wallop. There is something about seeing the doctors, especially the newer ones, have to think on their feet and learn from Dr. Robby and Dr. Abbott. It’s devastating and tragic, and the show doesn’t try to make it not be any of those things. The dialogue and writing can be somewhat heavy-handed at times, but most of the moments feel earned in a way that isn’t always present in medical dramas.
(I want to do some sort of roundup or ranking of each of the doctors. Is that something people would want to read?)
Watch it on Max.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺 📺 📺
RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 17)
I pretty much predicted that the Top Five would be who is still left in the competition. Suzie Toot has gone too long without a win (after claiming she should have won at least three challenges) to take the crown home. Sam Star is polished, but the repeated critiques that she needs to loosen the reins, don’t scream winner. Lexi Love is a bit too in her head to win this go around, but I think she could come back and conquer an All Stars season. Jewels Sparkles is a wild card. She was doing so well during the first half of the competition but has fallen into dangerous territory over the last few weeks.
This season still truly feels like Onya Nurve’s to lose. I think her bottom placement in the makeover episode only strengthened her storyline, as it resulted in a double sashay. Clearly, Ru loves her! She was not ready to let a four-time challenge winner go. In regards to the challenges, there have been some strange additions this season, like the monologue/interpretive dance challenge. I appreciate that they are trying new things, but perhaps they can look to Canada’s Drag Race for some fresh options.
Watch it on MTV.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺 📺
St. Denis Medical (Season 1)
I still think this a breezy watch, with a decent dosage of laughs, but it can feel a bit repetitive at times. I want to see the show elevate a bit more. Introduce us to more characters. Give us dynamic patients. Even up the humor a few notches. I do appreciate the heart that the show has introduced as we have gotten more familiar with the characters. I thought the episode where Alex and Serena rallied around Joyce when the technician found a lump during her mammogram was a standout. For me, humor and heart are always a winning combination. Wendi Mclendon-Covey is so unserious (positive) as Joyce, as seen in the clip above.
Most workplace comedies improve over time, and the show was already renewed for a second season. There is still time to explore and expand. I think it would be fun to see the hospital staff outside of the hospital. Host a team dinner or game night and see how these characters act outside of their job!
Watch it on NBC or Peacock.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺
Matlock (Season 1)
Sometimes network television just scratches an itch in your brain. This show continues to do just that for me. The show is on hiatus for “March Madness” and I miss it. I hope Olympia is innocent. I am genuinely invested in her friendship with Matty! Seeing them go back and forth when they disagree is also juicy. We know who the whistleblower is now and I am interested to see how that impacts the storyline going forward. Will Matty’s cover be blown for good? Will they work together?
I am interested to see what happens when Matty is inevitably found out (at least I can only assume she will be, but maybe they have a very different agenda for the show). I wonder if it will happen at the end of this season or if they will leave us hanging. Something major will happen (as they so often do), but I wonder what twist they will leave us with for the next season. I have said this before, but I truly think the show is a great character study! Matty/Madeline is much more than meets the eye and it’s fascinating to watch Kathy Bates play these two sides.
Watch it on CBS or Paramount+.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺 📺
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Season 14)
This season ended up being a snoozefest. It started slow, gained some momentum after the episodes with Reba, and then never really went anywhere. Why was the St.Lucia trip truncated into two episodes? The finale felt rushed and half of it was spent on Sutton throwing a tantrum. It was irritating to watch and I never need to see her whine about Kyle disliking her ever again. Stop begging people to be your friends! I think this cast needs a shakeup. With Garcelle leaving the show, who will be left to ask real questions? I don’t think anyone else is willing to be the audience’s proxy in a way that feels genuine.
Speaking of Garcelle leaving the show. I honestly care more about what happened with her at the reunion than anything else. I will reserve my judgment and see what occurred from both sides, but it does not seem like it ended well. Erika being shady on WWHL would be fine if her entire storyline all season wasn’t what ottoman she was going to put in her living room. It also didn’t feel like playful jabbing, but rather a delight in running Garcelle off of the show. Otherwise, for next season I would love to see Jennifer Tilly as a full-time housewife or at least returning as a “Friend Of.” I am still cackling at her saying “The Chucky money just pays for my snacks.”
Watch it on Bravo or Peacock.
My Rating: 📺 📺
The White Lotus (Season 3)
I don’t even know what to say about the events that have transpired in the last few episodes. If I could ask a genie to unsee, I would use all three wishes. It feels like some of the storylines veer on edgy for the sake of being edgy with no depth to ground the “Why?” of it all. This is obviously not true for every aspect of the show, but the commentary it once promised has waned for me this season. Some people talk about this show like they are in Mike White’s nonexistent writers’ room though 😭. It will be okay if someone doesn’t like this season! You don’t need to throw a pity party or give a thesis defense presentation! You don’t need to invite Bella Hadid!
Despite my qualms, there are still a few things I am enjoying. Parker Posey is having the time of her life, and I think Victoria came alive as a character and comic relief in the last three episodes. The dynamic between the friend trio is also deliciously bonkers. I could watch the dinner scene in the seventh episode on a loop! Fabian just wanting to sing is so funny and then relegating his performance to a cutaway scene is nasty work. I need Belinda to GO HOME! RUN! FAR! AWAY! GET ON A FLIGHT! A RAFT! IDC AT THIS POINT! NOW! PLEASE! I will have to see what the finale brings, but the penultimate episode didn’t get us much closer to answers.
Watch it on HBO or Max.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺
Found (Season 2)
The “Missing While Seeking Asylum” episode was the best episode of this season so far. There are aspects of the show that can feel incredibly on the nose, but they still get me with the emotion. I am interested in the Margaret and Jamie plotline. I didn’t think it was him at first, but the more information that has come out seems to prove otherwise. It feels like they are dragging out the storyline, though. Who is the mysterious woman who kidnapped him from the bus station? I need answers quickly!
Using the hashtag, #YesSir, made me cackle, I’m sorry. This show can be a bit unserious at times. I do not understand what Heather’s endgame is, but she needs to stay away from Gabi! She has suffered enough! This is one of my issues with this season. Important characters seem to come and go in a way that feels like we are lacking context as viewers. Hopefully, it unravels with the next few episodes.
Watch it on NBC or Peacock.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺
Southern Charm (Season 10)
I talked about Molly and her tuba in last month’s issue but I needed to share. Her confessional makes me want to cry! I feel the same way about television, music, theater, and the list goes on. Art is life-changing! I enjoyed her and Salley this season and felt they brought a lot to the show. I still think they need to cut at least four people from the cast and then maybe the plot will move more. I know the show is guilty of cutting a lot of scenes, which leaves me confused on why they decide to keep what they air…because some of it…*Sabrina Brier “Oh!”
The rest of this season was fine. The reunion has been alright so far. I am interested to see what happens with TJ and Venita. The whole situation makes me uncomfortable and the timeline feels like the meme of the confused lady with the math symbols in front of her. We will just have to see what receipts Venita has on her phone, but it’s not looking good for Mr. Fuckboy Exorciser. I might be the only person not invested in the Craig and Paige saga, but maybe I need to watch Summer House to get it.
Watch it on Bravo or Peacock.
My Rating: 📺 📺
Elsbeth (Season 2)
Another show on hiatus for “March Madness.” I need my quirky case of the week back now! There have only been three episodes since my last issue, but I have enjoyed each one of them. We learn a lot about Elsbeth through her interactions with the perpetrators every week. The episode “Tearjerker” where Jordana Brewster plays a consultant, named Chloe, who assists one of her clients in his death out of love, was a standout. The show is always willing to look at each death and guilty party from a new perspective, which is refreshing in a procedural.
The changing dynamic between Officer Blanke and Elsbeth has also been a source of intrigue. With Kaya becoming a detective, they aren’t quite able to be the duo we have come to love so far. I am interested to see where this goes and how it impacts their friendship. I think it’s an opportunity for Elsbeth to be pushed even further out of her comfort zone and make some new friends. I want to get back to the battle between Judge Crawford and Elsbeth. I am ready for the final showdown between the two and the delicious dialogue that we will get from it!
Watch it on CBS or Paramount+.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺 📺
Abbott Elementary (Season 4)
The karaoke episode will probably go down as one of my favorites. I have said that I love it when the show takes the teachers out of the classroom, and this was the writers doing it at their very best. Give Chris Perfetti an Emmy for his performance of Papa Roach’s “Last Resort.” I think Ava is also having some of the best character growth this season. Who would have thought there would come a day that we would be devastated to see her fired as Principal? Part of me feels like she will be back eventually, but I am intrigued to see how much the show commits to this decision.
At times, it can feel like Barbara’s development is cyclical and doesn’t evolve as much as I would like. However, I think there is a lot of room for opportunity in her taking over the music program. I am interested to see how this changes her as an educator. There have been a few episodes that feel like filler, but even those are enjoyable. The show always finds somewhere new to go and it’s been a joy to see what boundaries the creative team is willing to push as a workplace comedy.
Watch it on ABC or Hulu.
My Rating: 📺 📺 📺 📺 📺
Yellowjackets (Season 3)
I am two episodes behind on this show, mostly because it’s become a chore to watch. I want to love it so badly. Sophie Thatcher is acting like her life really does depend on it. There are still pieces of an interesting story in the episodes, but there isn’t enough to keep me wanting more. RIP Coach Ben 🕊️ 🪦 ♥️
The present storyline continues to confuse me. How many characters can they kill in the span of five episodes to “drive” a plot that has already lost air in all four tires? First, there was Natalie and then there was Lottie, who got pushed down the stairs? Okay, The Staircase (2022). I wish I could understand what the motives are, but I find myself perpetually confused. The acting is still great and I find myself at least engaged with the past storyline, so I will finish this season. I am just not sure if I will be seated for the next.
Watch it on Showtime or Paramount+.

The Traitors (Season 3)
You can find my detailed thoughts and breakdown here! It was a great season and I am getting more excited for the next as alleged competitor names start to be floated.
Watch it on Peacock.

(Gulps. This list is getting longer and longer.)
I hope to tackle way more of my watchlist in April. At this point, I am going to have to bust out Google Calendar and make a detailed schedule. I love watching television though so it wouldn’t be the WORST thing in the world.
I want to hear what television you enjoyed (or hated) in March and what you are looking forward to watching in April!
I would love a Pitt Ranking list because I love lists.
YJ has been slow. They originally slated for 5 seasons but this has one more in it - tops. I need them to wrap it up.
When Garcelle announced she was leaving my interest in RHOBH plummeted. She was the only one holding the remaining Fox force five to task. I am, however, loving Jennifer Tilly. She should stay a friend of because I think her being above the fray a tad gives her more levity. But bring on actual money!!
I want to do some sort of roundup or ranking of each of the doctors. Is that something people would want to read? -> yes please!! I can't even decide who would be my top 3. Probably McKay and King in there. Maybe Whitaker.
On RHOBH, I don't blame Garcelle for wanting to leave. Curious to see exactly what happens at the reunion but it feels like everyone if piling on her for not sharing more. As you said, what the hell is Erika bringing this season? She is just playing victim and decorating. Honestly the main reason I still watch RHOBH is to finally see Kyle admit she is dating Morgan and enjoy the breath of fresh air that is Jennifer Tilly.
