YJ has been slow. They originally slated for 5 seasons but this has one more in it - tops. I need them to wrap it up.
When Garcelle announced she was leaving my interest in RHOBH plummeted. She was the only one holding the remaining Fox force five to task. I am, however, loving Jennifer Tilly. She should stay a friend of because I think her being above the fray a tad gives her more levity. But bring on actual money!!
The five-season plan is wild to me considering I feel like they lost the plot in the second one.....😭 at this point, I don't even know what they are wrapping up because half of it makes no sense lol
This season of BH was a major chop for me! I need Kyle off of my screen. Erika can go too. Sutton too because she pissed me off this season. Garcelle is on to bigger and better things. Fox Force Flops! Jennifer is great and honestly agree too. If she was FT, she might not have a good time and leave quickly. ACTUAL MONEY not frauds...
I want to do some sort of roundup or ranking of each of the doctors. Is that something people would want to read? -> yes please!! I can't even decide who would be my top 3. Probably McKay and King in there. Maybe Whitaker.
On RHOBH, I don't blame Garcelle for wanting to leave. Curious to see exactly what happens at the reunion but it feels like everyone if piling on her for not sharing more. As you said, what the hell is Erika bringing this season? She is just playing victim and decorating. Honestly the main reason I still watch RHOBH is to finally see Kyle admit she is dating Morgan and enjoy the breath of fresh air that is Jennifer Tilly.
okay, good to know, good to know ✍️ it's going to be hard and will depend on the criteria but hoping to make it fun/unserious lol...there are too many faves. I am liking Whitaker more and more each episode and def appreciated his interaction with Robby this last episode.
I don't blame her either. I think Sutton left her out to dry and showed that she is not going to stand by her in the same way. Erika talks a lot of smack and that is about it. I am sorry you are upset that your fraud husband got caught and want people to feel bad for you years later. It's not like she was exactly kind to them. It's just hard for me to feel empathy for her when the whole "I am nice now" act feels fake. I love Jennifer. Need more of her.
Yessss! I can't feel bad for Erika no matter how much nicer she is this season. I cringe every time she compares her situation to Dorit or Kyle's divorce. It's giving "What about me?" desperate vibes.

I will never have enough time to watch everything i want to watch and often feel like the world is constantly trying to tell me that consuming this type of media isn't valid (and that books are king).
Anyway, on this specific one: I am loving this season of Abbott. How does it manage to get better and better? The karaoke episode was so good I was annoyed by the end, only because this show isn't real life and I am not a teacher at Abbott Elementary and wasn't invited to go sing with them!!!
I'm also loving the Pitt. I started it to fill the severance-sized whole in my heart and like it wayyy mroe than I thought.

I completely get what you mean about feeling like others don't see it as "valid media" to consume. It's frivolous to a lot of people but there is truly so much to glean from television. I think people who don't engage with it often don't realize the variety that exists. It's not JUST network television, or JUST prestige, or JUST reality tv. It can all co-exist and have meaning!

The Pitt has filled a hole in my heart that I didn't even know was there. I just love the ensemble and that exhilarating feeling each episode gives me. I still need to watch Severance. It's one of the rare shows that somehow escaped me. I will get to it one day (when I have time).

i've been so pleased so far that RHOA feels fresh this season, even with the looming kenya darkness - both RHOA and RHOP have felt shaky the last couple seasons and it hurts when they've been so strong. obsessed with shamea, my fave housewife of all time is kandi (don't care that many call her boring lol i stan forever) and shamea could definitely fill that unbothered main character who dips into the mess role.
RHOBH is like lucy with the football...every season post kim richards, at the premiere i say, okay HERE we go!! and then i'm pissed off and bored by the end. devastated garcelle is leaving but definitely the best for her to go out on top, some sort of cast shakeup def needed bc i can't be watching everyone vs. sutton again. sutton can be horrible but so can the fox force five and i'm over it!
abbott, i'm quite behind on but excited to binge and catch up! always glad the art of the truly funny sitcom isn't totally dead.
otherwise i'm watching married to medicine (best show on bravo bar none), survivor, and women's march madness - i want to get back into white lotus after watching only season 1 but haven't managed yet.
The next episode of RHOA is going to be a LOT...I really like most of the cast but I am already tired of Brit and her "all women hate me and are jealous" commentary in every confessional. Agreed about RHOP, but I hope S10 brings the fun (although I think filming is still on pause). I definitely see the Kandi and Shamea comparisons. Both feel grounded in a way that we don't always get (and don't need from everyone). Someone has to be the anchor though!
HAHAHAAH that is a great comparison for RHOBH. It starts promising and then it just drags....it feels like some of the people (cough Kyle cough) do not want to be there and it's getting stale. Garcelle saw her takedown coming and said I have a career outside of this, BYE and I applaud her for it. Right, it's like a ping-pong match of who is worse 😭 next season is going to be insufferable if they don't bring in 2 newbies to shake up the dynamics.

def get the too many shows lol, when there's more than two bravo shows i watch at once it feels like a lot. i used the empty TV landscape of 2020 to do a full binge of m2m.
also forgot to mention drag race - love onya and can't see any other winner. i did loathe suzie toot's 20s schtick at first and then she grew on me. i kinda miss seasons where the winner doesn't feel predestined by ep 3 (sasha colby, jinkx on all stars)
suzie toot is fine but I get the feeling that ru would never crown her...she falls somewhere between the theater queens she hates and jinkx lol... but totally feel you. this season felt that way for a while then onya emerged
